# On security and session expiration

I fire up my browser and navigate to http://portal.office.com/. For those of you who do not know, this is a web version of MS Office. An entry point. The page loads, I click Outlook and after that I am greeted with this message:

Well, sure, thanks for signing me out. This is exactly what I wanted. And to make a headshot the next message is this:

which does not contain any link to proceed and suggests I close all my browser windows. I think that apps that suggest you to close all your browser windows have no right to exist in the modern world.
